Diseño de un puerto de descargue de cereales a granel

Abstract

En los últimos años se ha incrementado el consumo de cereales como el maíz y el trigo, productos que son principalmente importados de países como Estados unidos y Argentina. A medida que pasan los años, la demanda de estos productos aumenta, lo que logrará un déficit en la capacidad de los puertos existentes de importaciones de cereales de 100000000 ton/h. El país no cuenta con infraestructuras para cubrir la cantidad faltante de la demanda, por lo cual el objetivo de este proyecto es el diseño de un puerto de descargue de cereales a granel, con el cual se consideraron factores importantes para su realización exitosa como un estudio del mercado, la ubicación estratégica, revisión de logística portuaria y el impacto social, económico y ambiental que este genera.

Específicamente se propone el diseño de las máquinas requeridas en el funcionamiento del Puerto y el presupuesto de este. Se realizó el diseño conceptual y básico del sistema de almacenamiento y de transporte y se llegó hasta el diseño de detalle del sistema de descargue. A demás, para garantizar la viabilidad del proyecto, fueron realizados los presupuestos, un estudio financiero y una comparación de pro y contras de su realización. Se obtuvieron limitantes en el presente diseño de tipo económicos y técnicos debido a los costes de equipos y la capacidad requerida a descargar.

Currentlly, the country does not have the necessary infrastructure to supply future demand, for this reason, the objective of this project is the design of a bulk grain unloading port, in which were considered important factors for its successful realization as a: study of the market, the strategic location, review of port logistics and the social, economic and environmental impact that this generates.

Specifically, the design of the machines required in the operation of the port, the conceptual and basic design of the storage and transport system was carried out and the detailed design of the unloading system was reached. In addition, to ensure the viability of the project, budgets were made, a financial study and a comparison of the pros and cons of its realization. Limitations were obtained in the present economic and technical design due to the equipment costs and the capacity required to discharge.
