Plataforma web para inmigrantes venezolanos

Abstract

Uno de los aspectos más difíciles de superar para los inmigrantes es el de poder realizar algún tipo de actividad económica que les ayude a subsistir o estar capacitados para poder ejercer alguna. Internet es una herramienta tradicional para fomentar el trabajo y la capacitación formal, se hace necesario proveerles a los inmigrantes herramientas, basadas en Internet, que puedan proveer alternativas y nuevas formas de lograr vincularse en actividades económicas que les ayude a subsistir e incluso poder capacitarse. Como solución, se ha diseñado e implementado una herramienta WEB con complemento móvil dado que el Internet hace posible crear redes alternas a las tradicionales. Buscamos esto con el fin de crear un servicio donde las personas puedan sentirse cómodas para actividades como: buscar empleo, capacitaciones, crear redes de colaboración, etc. Nuestro diseño de solución, como se puede ver en el diagrama, detalla el proceso de funcionamiento de la pagina. Nuestra plataforma almacena y recolecta los datos de Firebase, de los cuales los datos mas importantes son la información personal de los usuarios, todos los servicios y cursos propios y de otros usuarios. Implementando esto, se realizaron pruebas a un grupo de Venezolanos con un rango de edad disperso para poder obtener un feedback y una opinión de lo que faltaba y aun necesita nuestra herramienta, para tenerlo en cuenta durante el siguiente ciclo de trabajo. Como conclusión se logro crear un prototipo el cual asiste a los inmigrantes en Barranquilla a unirse a una red de colaboración con el fin de brindar capacitaciones y posibles trabajos lo cual es un apoyo para la alcaldía teniendo en cuenta los altos índices de inmigración, que les pueda ayudar a subsistir en la ciudad.

One of the most difficult aspects to overcome for immigrants is to be able to carry out some type of economic activity that helps them to survive or be able to exercise some. Internet is a traditional tool to promote work and formal training, it is necessary to provide immigrants with tools, based on the Internet, that can provide alternatives and new ways to get involved in economic activities that help them to survive and even to be able to train. As a solution, a WEB tool with mobile complement has been designed and implemented since the Internet makes it possible to create alternative networks to the traditional ones. We seek this in order to create a service where people can feel comfortable for activities such as: seeking employment, training, creating collaborative networks, etc. Our solution design, as you can see in the diagram, details the operation process of the page. Our platform stores and collects Firebase data, of which the most important data are the personal information of the users, all the services and courses of their own and of other users. Implementing this, tests were conducted on a group of Venezuelans with a dispersed age range to obtain feedback and an opinion of what was missing and still needs our tool, to take it into account during the next work cycle. In conclusion, it was possible to create a prototype which assists immigrants in Barranquilla to join a collaborative network in order to provide training and possible work which is a support for the mayor's office taking into account the high immigration rates, which can help subsist in the city.
