Diseño de un modelo de negocio basado en un sistema de huertas comunitarias para disminuir la inseguridad alimentaria en Galapa y Barranquilla

Abstract

El presente proyecto tiene por objetivo la aplicación de la metodología de diseño en ingeniería para el desarrollo de un modelo de negocio basado en un sistema de huertas comunitarias en el municipio de Galapa (Atlántico), en miras de reducir la inseguridad alimentaria que afecta a dicha comunidad significativamente, incentivar la producción orgánica de alimentos y generar utilidades a partir de esto. Las etapas que se llevaron a cabo fueron el análisis de requerimientos, a través de revisión de literatura y antecedentes de proyectos similares, la definición de alternativas de solución para el diseño de la huerta y del negocio, la selección de la mejor alternativa de negocio siguiendo la metodología Analytic Hierarchy Process y la validación de la misma, por medio de una encuesta y un modelo de simulación. Al conocer los resultados de este proceso, se obtuvo que la mejor alternativa era el diseño de una aplicación móvil de domicilio de productos orgánicos. A lo largo del desarrollo del mismo, se detallaron los diferentes aspectos de diseño de la huerta y se identificaron los principales requisitos para la ejecución del negocio. El aporte principal que se obtuvo del desarrollo de este proyecto fue el planteamiento de la base y requerimientos fundamentales de un modelo de negocio que funcione como referente para proyectos e investigaciones futuras en términos de agricultura urbana, inseguridad alimentaria, aplicación de modelo Canvas para el desarrollo de negocios, entre otros.

The objective of this project is to apply the engineering design methodology for the development of a business model based on a system of community gardens in the municipality of Galapa (Atlántico), in order to reduce the food insecurity that affects such community significantly, encourage the organic production of food and generate profits from this. The stages that were carried out were the analysis of requirements, through review of literature and background of similar projects, the definition of alternative solutions for the design of the garden and the business, the selection of the best business alternative following the Analytic Hierarchy Process methodology and the validation thereof, by means of a survey and a simulation model. When knowing the results of this process, it was obtained that the best alternative was the design of a mobile application of domicile of organic products. Throughout the development of these, the different aspects of design of the garden were detailed and the main requirements for the execution of the business were identified. The main contribution that was obtained from the development of this project was the approach of the base and fundamental requirements of a business model that works as a reference for projects and future research in terms of urban agriculture, food insecurity, application of Canvas model for development of business, among others.
