Automatización de nodos de conexión en el laboratorio UniGrid – Fase 2

Abstract

This project aims to automate nodes 611 and 671 of the UniGrid laboratory of the Universidad del Norte. It seeks to guarantee total independence in the output lines associated with the loads and generators of each node, and being able to control all the lines from an user interface. Therefore, a control system prototype was designed and built, which not only allows manual operation, but also allows remote control of the nodes from the SCADA system previously installed in the laboratory network.

Tests of each stage of the project were carried out, that is, we verified that each connection between different devices was given in an adequate and consistent manner over time and in the given environmental conditions and in which the project is developed. Thus, the prototype of the control system was developed progressively.

After designing and implementing the complete design of the control system prototype in nodes 611 and 671, end-to-end tests of the entire system were carried out, in order to verify that the prototype, in its entirety, It will work properly and the objectives set for this project will be met with their respective scopes and taking into account their respective limitations previously established in conjunction with the clients, that is, project advisors.

The tests carried out show that the operation is adequate, and the objectives were achieved.

Este proyecto tiene por objetivo automatizar los nodos 611 y 671 del laboratorio UniGrid de la Universidad del Norte. Se busca garantizar la total independencia en las líneas de salida asociadas a las cargas y generadores de cada nodo desde una interfaz de usuario. Por ende, se diseñó y construyó un prototipo de sistema de control el cual no solo permite la operación manual, sino también el control remoto de los nodos desde el sistema SCADA previamente instalado en la red del laboratorio. Se realizaron pruebas de cada etapa del proyecto, es decir se comprobó que cada conexión entre diferentes dispositivos se diera de manera adecuada y consistente a través del tiempo y en las condiciones ambientales dadas y en las cuales el proyecto se desarrolla. Así, se fue desarrollando el prototipo del sistema de control por etapas. Después de diseñar e implementar el diseño completo del prototipo de sistema de control en los nodos 611 y 671, se procedió a realizar pruebas end-to-end de todo el sistema, para de ese modo, comprobar que el prototipo, en su totalidad, funcionara de manera adecuada y se cumplieran, con este, los objetivos planteados para este proyecto con sus respectivos alcances y teniendo en consideración sus respectivas limitaciones establecidas con anterioridad en conjunto con los clientes, es decir, asesores del proyecto. Las pruebas realizadas permiten evidenciar que el funcionamiento es el adecuado y los objetivos fueron alcanzados.
